The RFCCD After School Initiative is for children and youth in elementary and middle school in the targeted community. This program will run during the school year to assist students in maintaining a positive academic performance. Special emphasis will be placed on assisting with homework, closing academic performance gaps, improving test scores, improving computer skills, and addressing social and physical needs. Hours of operation for students would be from 3pm – 6pm, Monday through Friday, and will run concurrent with the Greenville County School Year. Additionally, we will operate on Teacher Workdays! Your child must be registered 7 days prior to the Teacher Workday drop off.
Parental Enrichment Initiative is a critical component of the After School Program. This component will address critical parenting, social, and professional development skills. Counselors will also be available to assist parents with questions regarding their child’s academic and/or social development needs.
Transportation:
Bus transportation and school pick up will be provided at the following schools:
Elementary: Plain, Greenbrier, Robert E. Cashion, Ellen Woodside, & Fork Shoals,
Middle Schools: Ralph Chandler Middle, & Woodmont Middle
Student Pricing:
$50.00 Registration Fee (Annually)
$70.00 per week tuition per student or $65.00 Weekly for 2 or more students in a family. (Snacks Provided)
$35.00 daily drop-in – rate (3PM – 6PM includes snack)
Teacher Workday Fee:
$50.00 Full Day Drop-In (7:30AM-6PM) (Breakfast, lunch & Snack included)
Snacks: Nutritious snacks will be provided
