Our summer enrichment programs include healthy living projects, like growing your own vegetable gardens, as well as summer camps with social and community engagement.
After School Initiative
Our after-school program aims to assist students in maintaining a positive academic performance.
After School Initiative
This Initiative will run during the school year from August 11, 2025 - May 22, 2026, to assist students in maintaining a positive academic performance.

We place a special emphasis will be placed on closing academic gaps, improving test scores, improving computer skills, and addressing social, behavioral and physical needs.

Additionally we will offer a Parental Enrichment initiative which is a critical component of our After School offering targeting parent and guardians of enrolled students. This program will address critical parenting, social, and academic preparation skills for their child or children. Counselors will also be available to assist parents with questions regarding their child’s academic and developmental needs. It is our philosophy that home, school and our after school initiative must work together so that the student will have a successful academic year.

Hours of operation for students are 3pm – 6pm,
Monday through Friday, and will run concurrent with the Greenville County School Year.
The After School initiative will operate on Teacher Workdays!

Our Daily Schedule:
2:45pm-3:00pm – Arrival & Snack

3:15pm – 4:00pm – Homework Help
4:00pm – 4:30pm – Dream Box / Raz-Kids
4:30 pm – 5:00pm – LLI (Reading Help)
5:00pm – 5:30pm – Developing reading & writing Skills
5:30pm – 6:00pm – STEM / Music/ Etiquette / Money Matters/ Fitness & Dismissal

Transportation:
Bus transportation and school pickup will be provided at the following schools:
Elementary: Plain, Greenbrier, Robert E. Cashion, Ellen Woodside, Sue Cleveland, Bryson & Fork Shoals, Simpsonville
Middle Schools: Ralph Chandler Middle & Woodmont Middle

Student Pricing:
$50.00 Registration Fee (Annually)
$75.00 per week tuition per student or $70.00 Weekly for 2 or more students in a family. (Nutritious Snacks Provided)
$35.00 daily drop-in rate (3PM - 6PM includes snack)
Teacher Workday Fee: $ 50.00 Full Day Drop-In (7:30AM-6PM) Breakfast, lunch & Snack included.
Field Trip Cost not included.

    LLI
    • The Fountas & Pinnell Leveled Literacy Intervention System (LLI) is an intensive, small-group, supplementary literacy intervention for students who find reading and writing difficult. The goal of LLI is to lift the literacy achievement of students who are not achieving grade-level expectations in reading.
    • The LLI systems are designed to:​
    • Advance the literacy learning of students not meeting grade-level expectations in reading​
    • Deepen and expand comprehension with close reading​
    • Elevate the expertise of teachers​
    • Increase reading volume by engaging students in large amounts of successful daily reading​
    • Increase student engagement with books that build knowledge​
    • Intervene with small groups of struggling readers to maximize growth​
    • Meet the needs of struggling readers​ and monitor student progress
Summer Enrichment Initiative

Summer Enrichment is for children and youth in elementary and middle school.


The focus of our Summer Enrichment initiative is to assist in helping students bridge their learning from one grade to the next as well as to provide them with social and life skills to promote academic success with special emphasis on reading, writing, and math skills.


This Initiative will run eight weeks during the summer break from June 2 - August 1, 2025, to assist students in maintaining a positive academic performance. (Please note that the RFCCD Summer Enrichment Initiative will be closed the week of June 30 - July 4 2025, reopening on July 7,2025).


Additionally we will offer a Parental Enrichment initiative which is a critical component of our Summer Enrichment offering targeting parent and guardians of enrolled students. This program will address critical parenting, social, and academic preparation skills for their child or children. Counselors will also be available to assist parents with questions regarding their child’s academic and developmental needs. It is our philosophy that home, school and summer enrichment initiative must work together so that the student will have a successful closing the gap period.


Hours of operation:

7:30 AM -5:30 PM for students, Monday through Friday except on Holidays.


Transportation:

Local field trips and outings are included in the students cost. However, all day or charted trip will be an additional cost.


Student Pricing:

  • $75.00 Registration $75 per student(Includes supplies, badge/lanyard,T- Shirts, etc) or $45 per students for students that are enrolled in the RFCCD After School Initiative.
  • Weekly tuition is $115.00 per student or $110 per student two or more and must be paid on each Friday.
  • Half days or select full days tuition is $70 per week (Includes Breakfast and Lunch or lunch and a snack. and select days must be the same each week, example Monday, Wednesday, Fridays or Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
  • Full Day drop off: $50 per student

Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Snack & Local field trips
