Summer Enrichment
The Summer Enrichment Initiative is for children entering 1st grade through 8th grade.
The focus of our Summer Enrichment initiative is to assist in helping students bridge their learning from one grade to the next as well as providing them with social and life skills to promote academic success with special emphasis on reading, writing, and math skills.

This Initiative will run eight weeks during the summer break of 2026 from June 1st through July 31st to assist students in maintaining a positive academic performance. (Please note that the RFCCD Summer Enrichment Initiative will be closed the week of June 29 - July 3, 2026, reopening on July 6, 2026).

Additionally, we will offer a Parental Enrichment initiative – targeting parent and guardians of enrolled students. This program will address critical parenting, social, and academic preparation skills for their child(ren).

Counselors will also be available to assist parents with questions regarding their child’s academic and developmental needs.

It is our philosophy that home, school, and our initiatives must work together to create and maintain a successful closing the gap period.
